Ten things I would fix in my house

1) Repaint the Kitchen
2) New furniture in the Family room
3) New dinning room chairs that weren't so rickety
(Although the set I have now was given to us so I shouldn't complain)
4) Install glass French doors to my office instead of the
builder grade doors they installed
5) Have someone landscape my backyard to make it my complete dream
oasis
6) Buy new area rugs for several rooms in the house
7) New Drapes in the formal living room and the dinning room
8) Organize the garage
9) Reconfigure the playroom/craft area
10 )Get California closets to come in and give my closet a make over!

You're bold to organize the garage. *lol* I don't dare touch hubby's garage except to get the things I need ie: lawn mower, broom and garden tools.
I'll have to google California Closets... I've never heard of them.

That sounds like a great list, though I have no idea how a person stops at just ten things. The last time I wrote out a wish list, it was a full page and then some, and my husband got so overwhelmed and upset that the wish list "got lost" and hasn't been seen since. LOL!

Oh California Closets....heavenly! Now if I could just get them to come over every night and put stuff away...
im with you on the house updates. i already did the all new furniture thing over the last year, now i'm ready for the big stuff. kitchen, bath, and draperies (why are draperies sooo hard to decide on). If you do any of the things on your list, be sure to post photos!
