Hi there!Well I am back from my hiatus, it wasn't nearly as relaxing as I would have hoped for but it was very productive. So much so that I decided to make it my Tuesday Toot. Below is a list of things I did while home the last few days. Keep in mind that I had 2 active kids to take care of since hubby was out gallivanting in Houston and Vegas for 5 days. I am sure that once I publish this post there will be more completed tasks that I remember so check back because the list may continue to evolve.
1) planted all the deck flowers as well as some shrubbery
2) Cleaned the hot tub and installed new pillow pads (but of course didn't use it to relax)
3) totally scrubbed my kitchen floor, I mean on my hands and knees, amazing the crap you don't see till you actually get on the floor.
4) cleaned out my dresser drawers of clothes that no longer fit, and made the fall/winter to Spring summer transition
5) totally reorganized our master bedroom closet (I need to take pictures so you appreciate the enormity of this project
6) cleaned out the dresser drawers for both the kids of clothes that no longer fit, and made the fall/winter to Spring summer transition
7) made dinner every night!!!! (no take out)
8) bought 2 new rugs 8 x 10 hauled them in and laid them down
9) Did 10 loads of Laundry
10) Let my kids play in the mud, more to come on that later
11) Didn't go to Walmart or Target and randomly buy stuff I don't need
12) organized the Craft storage area
13) made some cute presents/ door prize giveaways
14) and a bunch of little things I can't see to remember at this point.
The good news is that while I was doing all these things I came up with several good topics for blog posts so hopefully you will stay tuned!

Toot that horn! You rocked!! Heck, #7 (no take-out) would be a huge accomplishment for me. :-) I posted my first Tuesday Toot today.
I am so jealous of your energy. This nesting has gotten me wanting to organize and clean but I just get so tired after even a half hour - ugh!
I'm also jealous of your will-power (number 11)!
Don't forget your pedicure - I'm glad you got to pamper yourself a bit too!
That's a pretty impressive list you have. I hate scrubbing the floors only because of what you said, there is so much crap you don't see until you are down there.
Go use that hot tub, you deserve it!
I think the most heroic part of that is refusing to go to Target/Walmart to buy stuff you don't need. It's IMPOSSIBLE to go in there and not come out with stuff that's not on your list.
I was considering a hiatus myself until I read your list, now I'm thinking things maybe more relaxing at the office!
Holy Spring cleaning!HOW long did it take you to do all that, WonderWoman?!
Okay, I'm about whupped just reading all that!
BTW...regarding your previous post and lurkers, I'll admit there are times when I've been here and not left a comment, BUT my excuse is that, before I get a chance to think of anything worthwhile to say, one (or more) of the children start DEMANDING MY IMMEDIATE ATTENTION RIGHT NOW! and I end up leaving without commenting. In fact, the only reason I've managed to get over here, read AND comment right now is because Daddy is home (for a change) and dealing with it. SO...(how much longer can I get away with this??? hehehe)...in the future, if you see me stop by and I don't comment, you'll know why.
Way to go on making dinner!
Thanks for the pot and cute note. I JUST got it and will be giving you a shout out tomorrow. Thanks!!!!
Wowww you just did a great job while ur on hiatus. not relaxing as you say coz u were working but i know as you make this TT you had a deep sigh of satisfaction. Good luck to spring in your area.
Happy TT too!
Want to come here and use your super powers on my house? he he he
Way to go, girl!
You were busy! I need to clean out my closets, too. And my floor? Ugh.
Hopefully you'll get to use that hot tub to relax sometime soon!
WOw, that is the stuff that I do when my hubby is around. When he travels, the kids and I leave and see what trouble we can get in to.
I am tired just from reading your list of accomplishments, and now I am totally feeling lazy.
WOOOOHOOO that's quite the list.... puts my average week to shame.
Of course i just got back from good ole target buying un-needed things... ;> But i did score a cute outfit for my hubbie date on Friday.
Wow, you were productive! I love that feeling. The only downside is that your husband will probably find excuses to go out of town like this more often!
Wow - that is a long list of accomplishments - that must have been so fulfilling! Now I feel like I have to go and accomplish something really productive! Thanks for playing along this week.
